Biography
English was not my first language. I grew up to Korean immigrants and I am fully aware of my cultural identity woven between two distinct cultures. Food was my first language. I love to cook. I love playing sports. I love being outside. I love trying new things and experiences. Most importantly I love to learn and tinker.
I am trying to stay positive while drinking from a fire hose. I work full-time and trade sleep for coding. I am a full-time dad to a 18 month old son. My dog has forgotten who I am because I talk to Victor, my rubber ducky.
Idiosyncrasies: I think in Korean before I speak English. Now I am learning to code - what could possibly go wrong?

Date Night App
A mobile-first app built for the indecisive person(s). API and firebase used in the construction of the application along with a click wheel almost resembling an iPod classic. Incorporating existing social behaviors and pop culture items this app allows for minimal user input with refreshing ideas for both movies selection and Richmond-based local restaurants recognized by promoting local campaign.
Final Fantasy VII Trivia
A trivia game with a tribute element to Final Fantasy VII. A background movie clip from Advent Children playing while answering trivia questions. A responsive web design without clutter.
Gran Turismo Hangman
An in-browser hangman game featuring dynamically updated HTML and powered by javaScript code. Guess the name of the sports car.
Friend Finder
A personality quiz resulting in a celebrity match. A Full-stack application using the express package for node.js. This app uses Express to serve 2 static HTML files and 2 API routes to get and post data. Bear in mind the data is stored in an object within a JS file.
Sesame Street Game
A children's version of the clicky game. Created using react for logic and bootstrap for UI.
Burger Bite
A Node, Express, Handlebars, and MySQL burger app that lets users input the names of burgers they'd like to eat... and then devour them!
